Many big returns take place on Monday Night Raw

WWE presented Monday Night Raw live from Baltimore, 
Maryland and it seemed to be a night of returns as the
 show kicked off with the return of Stephanie McMahon 
followed by Bo Dallas, Nia Jax, Samoa Joe and Braun
Strowman.

Bo Dallas returned to take his place at the side of The Miz ahead

 of his Intercontinental Championship match against Matt Hardy.

 Meanwhile, Nia made her shocking return as a handpicked

 replacement for Alicia Fox in her opening match on Raw against 

Bayley, a match that Nia managed to win after another dominating

 display.

Following the match, Alicia announced that Nia was her first pick

 for the women's team at Survivor Series, something that Nia

 accepted before motioning to Alicia that she had made a smart choice.

As Nia was making her way up the ramp, Samoa Joe made his

 return to the company for the first time since August and laid 

down a challenge to anyone in the back. It seems that Apollo Crews

 accepted the challenge and much like Nia Jax before him, Joe put 

on a dominant display against the former NXT star before making

 him tap to the Coquina Clutch.

Joe later taunted Titus O'Neil after the match before locking

 him in the Clutch as well, sending a message to the entire

 Raw roster ahead of Survivor Series.

As for Braun, the Monster Among Men returned after the 

main event to completely destroy the Miztourage.

Kurt Angle named Team Captain for Survivor Series with his job on the line

Raw General Manager Kurt Angle will once again return to 

the ring at the Survivor Series pay-per-view as the captain 

for the men’s team.

Angle kicked off Monday Night Raw addressing the fans and

 the Raw roster following the attack by the SmackDown roster

 the previous week and promised that the SmackDown superstars

 and Shane McMahon wouldn’t get away with this.

Angle was then interrupted by a returning Stephanie McMahon

 and told him that he was failing to handle the situation which

 led to her naming Angle the captain for the Raw Survivor Series

 team and added a stipulation that if the Raw team loses, Angle

 would lose his job as the Raw General Manager.

Following this announcement, the only wrestlers revealed for the 

male Survivor Series match have been Angle and Randy Orton.

Angle returned to the ring last week for the TLC pay-per-view when

 he replaced Roman Reigns and teamed with Dean Ambrose and

 Seth Rollins to take on Braun Strowman, The Miz, Kane, Cesaro,

 and Sheamus.

Angle’s job being on the line marks the first time since the 2014 

Survivor Series show where someone’s job security depended on 

their team winning the match.

There have yet to be any qualifiers for the men’s Survivor Series 

match, so the WWE may be waiting until Reigns is cleared to 

compete to finalize the members of the team.

Samoa Joe takes a shot at WWE.com in scathing promo

In late August, Samoa Joe suffered an injury that ruled him 

out of action for two whole months. He made his triumphant

 return to the company once again, this week.

Following his win over Apollo Crews, Samoa Joe cut a vicious

 promo. During the course of the promo, he even took a shot at

 WWE.com and their 'tales of redemption'.

Mike Rome caught up with Samoa Joe for a WWE.com exclusive

 interview and asked him about putting both the RAW and SmackDown

 Live rosters on notice. This is how Samoa Joe responded to Rome:

Notice? You know notice is a funny thing. Notice means I'm

informing people who do not know. To be honest, everybody

knows. Everybody here, they know. They know what I'm here

to do and what I'm capable of.

Samoa Joe went on to say the following words:

You know year after year I've seen men get injured and

they're carted out. And you people, and (WWE).com, you

follow them around and you build this beautiful tale of

redemption and coming back. For some reason, none

of those things were afforded to me.

Joe said that him entertaining the crowd was a fruitless endeavour.

 He referred to the backstage crew including Mike Rome as 'selfish'

 and 'punks'. Scary!

We wonder if Samoa Joe will be one of the men chosen to be

 a part of RAW's Survivor Series team. Or indeed, if creative

Daniel Bryan rushed to a medical facility

Smackdown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan showed up on

 RAW this week to confront RAW General Manager Kurt Angle,

 apologize for the attack from SmackDown Live on the RAW 

roster and admit that he did not agree with Shane McMahon's

 dastardly actions.

For his efforts, he was chokeslammed by his former tag team 

partner, Kane. We understand that he was rushed to a medical

 facility soon afterwards. Here's the news update, as first

 reported by WWE.com.

Daniel Bryan fans can heave a sigh of relief. This is almost certainly

 a work. We wonder if it's a way to write Bryan off TV for a few weeks,

 as McMahon assumes charge of the blue brand and goes on the 

offensive against RAW.

It may also be a way to not have Bryan travel to the United Kingdom,

 where both brands will go to, next week.

We wonder if Shane McMahon will take this act as an affront, 

and choose to retaliate against RAW. Join us for our live and

Emma breaks her silence following her release

We recently reported that WWE had parted ways with the female Aussie

 superstar, Emma. The RAW Superstar recently went on social media and

 indicated that the 'best is yet to come'.

We suppose that she means that she's not done with the wrestling business.

 This is the Tweet she posted.

Ever since Emma sent out the Tweet, the outpouring of support for 

her was massive. The crux of the matter is that Emma was not bitter,

 but seemed thankful to her friends, fans and family for her incredible

 journey.What sent Twitter into a tizzy is the fact that she indicated that 

she was not done with the world of sports entertainment, even though

 her association with WWE had come to an end. Having worked in the

 independents before, we are definitely not surprised.

There are many independent promotions that would love to work with 

this talented and gorgeous Aussie lass. Stay by the phone, Emma.

Kurt Angle to appear at upcoming UK Live Event

WWE announced on Twitter that Raw General Manager Kurt Angle
 will appear at the Birmingham, England Live Event on Nov. 7.

A report published by Wrestling Inc. says that Angle was already scheduled to 

appear on the Nov. 6 edition of Raw that will take place in Manchester, England 

but the announcement by WWE means that Angle will appear at the Live Event

 at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham, England too.

Angle has been a mainstay on WWE programming since he began his role as 

the Raw General Manager, but his appearance at this upcoming house show 

may be occurring in light of Reigns being pulled from shows following his illness.

The last house show Angle appeared on in Birmingham was in 2009 for TNA 

Impact Wrestling when he and Scott Steiner teamed up to face AJ Styles and

 Jeff Jarrett. The last WWE house show Angle appeared on in Birmingham was 

back in 2005 when Angle wrestled Shawn Michaels.

Randy Orton takes shot at Kevin Owens' weight

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens seem to be going at it on SmackDown Live.

 Although Survivor Series might be the big event on the horizon Randy Orton

 and Kevin Owens seem destined to lock horns and their feud is heating up.

What will really make matters a little more serious is if Randy Orton keeps 

throwing little jabs at Kevin Owens like this.

Randy Orton recently sent out an Instagram message featuring a delicious 

looking breakfast from McDonald's. The Viper promptly told everyone not to

 judge him because he needs to calories. He went on to say that he's facing

 Kevin Owens, therefore it is implied he could use as much weight as he can

 get at this juncture. It was a clever little burn on Orton's part but it probably 

won't help him defeat The Prizefighter any easier.

Backstage news on the RAW-SmackDown invasion angle

Given the WWE’s varying schedule for its RAW and SmackDown brands, 

the possibility of RAW invading the blue brand’s show on Tuesday next 

week seems unlikely.

Additionally, one ought to note that in the week which follows, SmackDown

 Live airs from Manchester, England on November 7th, with a RAW live

 event scheduled in Birmingham—alluding to a possible invasion. Besides, 

a few other details of note were recently revealed by PWInsider.

All signs point towards the chances of RAW invading SmackDown Live on

 October 31st being close to nil, given that the show takes place in Norfolk,

 Virginia at a time when the RAW roster will have already left for their UK tour.

Speaking of which, the November 7th episode of SmackDown Live takes place

 in Manchester, England just a couple of hours away from a RAW house show 

in Birmingham. The belief is that the red brand may indeed strike back during

 the episode in Manchester; invading SD Live.

Furthermore, the ‘go home’ edition of Monday Night RAW that airs on November 

13th from Atlanta, Georgia, as well as the SmackDown Live episode on Nov. 14th

 from Charlotte, North Carolina, will most likely give fans more of the ‘invasion angle’

—with each respective roster appearing on the other show.

On that note, PWInsider asserted that the SmackDown Superstars were instructed 

by Vince McMahon to go all-out in their beat-down of the RAW roster; making it

 seem as real as possible. Speaking of which, the segment which was pre-taped,

 before RAW aired, featured a certain Superstar throw a typical ‘working punch’; 

owing to which filming was paused and the segment was re-shot.
