Popular NXT Superstar to debut on 205 Live

WWE's main roster has been plagued by a handful of NXT
call-ups as of late, with returning star Paige bringing Mandy Rose
and Sonya Deville to Monday Nights, and Ruby Riot, Sarah Logan
and Liv Morgan making an impact on Smackdown Live.
It seems another NXT star is set to make his main roster debut,
as Nigel McGuinness announced on 205 Live that Hideo Itami
would be joining the cruiserweights soon.
The former Kenta was seen as a huge signing for WWE back
in 2014, bringing a ton of fan fair with him when he appeared at
NXT Takeover:Fatal 4 Way, attacking the Ascension. Itami would
go on to have a solid run before a plague of injuries would keep him
out of action for about two years. After his return, he had a handful
of high profile matches against the likes of Bobby Roode, Kassius Ohno
and Aleister Black.
With Itami making his way to 205 Live, it seems that Enzo Amore's time
on top may be at an end. The high impact striker will look to make quick
work of any opponent who steps in his way. The Japenese wrestler -- who
created the Go to Sleep (GTS) is regarded as a legend in his home country
and we can only hope WWE treats him like one.

Roman Reigns captures first Intercontinental Title on RAW to become Grand Slam Champion

It happened on the night after Survivor Series and there wasn't
anything The Miz could do to stop it. Roman Reigns wanted a singles
title because Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose said they were
going after the Raw Tag Team Championships once again.
This idea is strange, in theory, because couldn't The Shield just
use the Freebird Rules like The News Day did and 3MB would
have if they had won the tag team titles?
Regardless of motivation, reason, or explanation, Roman Reigns
was awarded an Intercontinental Title Match against The Miz to
close out the Raw after Survivor Series. The Houston crowd incredibly
supportive of The Miz with plenty of "Miz is awesome" chants throughout
the night as The Miz entertained them thoroughly.
But all of the fan support in the world couldn't stop Roman Reigns
from landing a spear and ending The Miz's amazing title run. Truth
be told, The Miz might have established himself as one of the greatest
Intercontinental Champions of all-time during this run with the title.
But now it looks like The Miztourage will be following around an ex-champion
(until The Miz can arrange to pick the title back up).
It might have been a sad moment for the A-Lister, but it was a
career-defining for Roman Reigns. As he held his new singles title up
high after the match, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose celebrated with
 their fellow Hound of Justice.
This victory puts Roman Reigns in some pretty impressive company as
well, seeing how he is now a Grand Slam Champion. The Big Dog
is now in the company of names like Eddie Guerrero, Daniel Bryan,
The Miz, Chris Jericho, and Dean Ambrose who are all WWE Grand
Slam Champions as well.

Paige returns as leader of new stable of NXT call-ups

Well, this was a shocking turn of events but what else should
you expect from WWE on the night after one of their Big 4
pay-per-views? But for everything to make sense, we have
to back it up a little bit to when Alexa Bliss came out to talk
herself up.

Although Bliss lost at Survivor Series to Charlotte Flair, she
was still her biggest fan. Five Feet of Fury talked about her
own accomplishments and said nobody could face her and
then Mickie James came out followed by Bayley, Sasha Banks,
and Alicia Fox. All four women wanted a piece of Alexa Bliss.
As Bliss exited up the ramp to get out of the tough situation,
Kurt Angle appeared at the top of the ramp and informed Alexa Bliss
that she would be fighting the winner of the fatal four-way that
was to ensue. Then a match between Bayley, Banks, Fox, and
James commenced.
However, this #1 contender's match didn't see a true winner as
Paige's music broke out and the first-ever NXT Women's Champion
emerged on the entrance ramp. She asked if people missed her
and received a huge "welcome back" chant in reply from the packed
 Houston crowd.
Paige cut a nice little promo and then disclosed that she didn't come
alone. At that point, two NXT Women standouts jumped in the ring
and made their main roster debuts. Mandy Rose, a woman best-known
from Tough Enough, as well as Sonya Deville, an MMA trained,
Tough Enough alumnus as well as WWE's first openly lesbian Superstar,
jumped in the ring.
This new stable laid waste to the women in the #1 contender's match
only giving Alicia Fox the chance to run for the hills while screaming
 in terror.
It's a great time to be a pro wrestling fan once again if you've been
missing The Diva of Tomorrow because she's back and seems to be
 better than ever.

Raw and SmackDown LIVE authority figures to fight over Daniel Bryan

It is being speculated that a huge programme between
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon against Kurt Angle
and Shane McMahon is being planned, which will lead
to Wrestlemania 34. In addition to this, Cageside Seats
are suggesting that both sides will try to recruit Daniel Bryan.
On the RAW after Survivor Series, Triple H was confronted
by Braun Strowman, Kurt Angle, and Angle's son Jason Jordan
with all three men unhappy about the COO's antics at the
pay-per-view, but If the rumours are to be believed, this is
all leading to Kurt Angle joining forces with Shane McMahon
 against Triple H and Stephanie.
Apparently, this will lead towards Wrestlemania 34 in a big way,
but it doesn't stop there. Both sides are expected to try and
recruit Daniel Bryan, who is sort of a wild card in this situation.
This is something we started seeing during Survivor Series
when Stephanie McMahon told Daniel Bryan he'd be in charge
of SmackDown with Shane out of the way.
If Daniel Bryan does pick a side, it's likely for Stephanie McMahon
to turn the SmackDown General Manager into a heel. This is because
the latter is unhappy with Shane McMahon's actions leading up to the
Survivor Series pay-per-view. However, we'll know more once the
post-Survivor Series SmackDown LIVE airs. Stay tuned for more updates and follow me on google+ as satishasian2@gmail.com.

Cody Rhodes lashes out at WWE NXT; mocks 'Too Sweet' sign

Cody Rhodes lashed out at WWE NXT’s live event, during a
promo at ROH’s house show—both of which took place on
 November 17th.
Cody asserted that ROH’s live event was sold out; while the
NXT house show which was underway in the same area wasn’t.
Cody Rhodes recently signed a deal with ROH and presently
holds the ROH World Championship. Also, one ought to note that
both NXT and ROH held their respective house shows in
San Antonio, Texas on November 17th.
Addressing the two live events going head-to-head, Cody took a jab
at WWE’s recent ‘cease and desist’ order disallowing The
Young Bucks from using the trademark nWo ‘Too Sweet’
gesture—the rights of which are owned by WWE. In fact,
Cody proceeded to not only speak about it but also mockingly
attempted to pull off the Too Sweet fist bump.
Furthermore, Cody emphasized that ROH’s house show was
sold out; besides alleging that NXT’s event in the vicinity had
trouble pushing tickets—something that his wife Brandi Rhodes
doubled down upon by Tweeting about the great meet-n-greet
turnover and options in today’s pro-wrestling scene.

ROH San Antonio sold out and I’m hearing the meet and greet line
was one for the record books. So fun! Heck of a time to be both
a wrestler and a wrestling fan. Options are good!

AJ Styles hints at retiring soon

It's hard to imagine a pro wrestling world without AJ Styles,
but by the sounds of it that's exactly what is going to happen
eventually. AJ Styles told 97.9 The Box in Houston that he
plans on taking it easy in a couple of years so he doesn't
have to miss any more of his children's life events.

AJ Styles and Drew McIntyre were guests on 97.9 The Box
in Houston this week to promote the big WWE events in the
area when AJ Styles started opening up a little bit about getting
older. He said It's harder to pull off those amazing skills to be at
that Phenomenal level at this point in his career although it's not
impossible as he continues to prove it in the ring and the gym.
"The older you get, the less energy you have to maintain it!"

Styles said. "It is what it is, but if you still have that drive and

you can still do it, why not? Get in the gym and get it done,

and look good in the meantime."
AJ Styles has wrestled for 18 years of his life at this point and it
looks like he's looking forward to a day where he won't have to
work in the ring anymore. His philosophy is that he works hard
now and enjoy it later. He also said in a couple years he won't
have to worry about missing his children's activities which really
makes you have to wonder if he plans on re-signing with WWE
 when the time comes.
"Work hard now, you enjoy it later," Styles said. "In a

couple of years, I'll be able to catch every football game,

every baseball game, every basketball game, cheerleading,
