IndiGo bans comedian Kunal Kamra for 6 months for ‘heckling’ Arnab Goswami on its flight


New Delhi: IndiGo on Tuesday suspended comedian Kunal Kamra for six months with the private airline, after allegedly interrupting journalist Arnab Goswami aboard one of his planes from Mumbai to Lucknow.

"In light of the recent accident aboard the 6E 5317 from Mumbai to Lucknow, we wish to report that we are suspending Mr. Kunal Kamra from flying with IndiGo for a period of six months, as his conduct onboard has been unacceptable behavior," La airline said. in a tweet
"We hereby advise our passengers to refrain from falling into personal slander on board, as this could compromise the safety of other passengers," he added.
Kamra was to interrupt Republic TV director Goswami on an IndiGo plane from Mumbai-Lucknow on Tuesday.
In a video clip posted by Kamra on Twitter, the comedian is seen standing up and asking Goswami if he is a "coward or journalist".
