Rating: 3.5/5 Stars (Three and a half stars!)
Star Cast: Saif Ali Khan, Alaya F, Kubbra Sait, Kumud Mishra, Tabu, Chunky Pandey
Director: Nitin Kakkar
Best Part: An actor who refused to grow old will stay here long enough to star in his biographical film.
Worst Part: The genre change process costs to film the hold that has been held from the beginning.
Analysis: Super cool and carefree jazz, also known as Jassi (Saif Ali Khan), is a real estate broker in London who is ready to solve the biggest business of his life. It is a party animal that loves its freedom but is also going through 40 years. Meet a girl, Tia (Alaya F) at the club, take her home, try to silence her until she throws the "You could be my father" bomb on him.
Statically explain how there is a 33.33% probability that it is his father. He is not ready to sacrifice his freedom for her. The rest of the story is about how Tia tries to stay close to Jazz and hopes to reunite her family. On the other hand, we have Jazz, who is surprised to conclude the deal and how it connects with Tia.
Script Analysis: In addition to the script that absorbs the attention, it is the presence of Saif Ali Khan that keeps you hooked. After envying how beautiful he is, you will start laughing with him at his silly jokes. The screenplay makes its way through balanced comedies and dramas both in the same way. It's an easy-to-watch, easy-to-recommend drama that's combined with some good performances.
There were times when the adult in me screamed because the producers did not follow a complete path of "A" certificates and turned it into a classified A problem. But then, the target audience. The pace drops in the second half when the drama takes the driver's seat. Jawaani Jaaneman has an advantage over De De Pyaar De de Ajay Devgn, who had a similar genre.
Star Performance Analysis: Saif Ali Khan, without a doubt, is the best aged Khan in Bollywood. There could not be a better actor than him in the role of Jazz and breathe a lot of booty for the character. A perfectly tailored and intriguing card for Saif.
Alaya is charming from the start. She has a unique aura around her, so she doesn't have to work hard to make people like her. He is only there, doing his things and in the next moment, you will interact only with her. Again, an incredibly suitable choice for Tia to launch.
Kubbra Sait adds value to the narrative with its interpretation. She is also in the "natural" area and the graphics of her character fluctuate during the second half. Although Kumud Mishra has some fun lines, it is the classic Mishra that we have seen many times. I was expecting something new and meaty.
Tabu simply fires the space he is in and enjoys some of the best situational comic scenes. Chunky Pandey shoots directly from Housefull 4. The emphasis on Aakhri Pasta doesn't change either.
Direction and Music Analysis: I loved Nitin Kakkar's honest attempt with Notebook, but Jawaani Jaaneman is one step ahead. Here, play with the dramatic comedy. The dramatic parts lengthen the already short rhythm (119 minutes) which makes you lose control of the film in the middle. Filmistaan, Notebook and now this: Nitin is mastering the ability to keep cities like a different character in the film.
I entered with zero expectations with the songs and went with at least two good songs. Bandhu Tu Mera of Yasser Desai has a great hangover from Tum Hi Ho Bandhu and could grow after this. I loved Harshdeep Kaur, Akhil Sachdeva's Mere Baabula and he stayed with me even after the film.
Final Analysis And Stars: Having said that, Jawaani Jaaneman not only guarantees to make you laugh, but he is also supported by some moving moments. A simple recommendation, enter without expectations and you will like it more.
3.5 STARS!
