Versatile actor Rao Ramesh joins the ensemble star cast of KGF 2

Striking everyone by surprise, Sandalwood's vintage action movie "KGF: Chapter 1" became a huge box office hit in 2018 accumulating a worldwide total of over Rs 200 million. All dubbed versions that include Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam have recorded huge strides and the protagonist of the film, "Rocking Star", Yash has become a sensation nationwide. Encouraged by huge success, the creators are busy with the shooting procedures of the second version entitled KGF: Chapter 2.

While Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt is rehearsing the role of the main antagonist Adheera, Raveena Tandon's extraordinary beauty will be seen in a key role. After her tweet, the 45-year-old actress appears to play Ramika Sen, presumably a police officer. Now, the popular Telugu actor Rao Ramesh is the latest addition to the ensemble's star cast.

Director Prashanth Neel went to Twitter and announced that the versatile artist will play a special role in KGF 2. He wrote: "Welcome on board, Rao Ramesh, sir. Let the audience continue to guess it until they see you on the big screen. Thanks for being part of # KGFChapter2 " 

Shooting for the sequel is expected to end in a couple of months and the release date has not yet been revealed. Set in the Kolar gold deposits of Karnataka, the two-part actor brought the Kannada film industry to the fore after many years.
