Acting director Promila Kumar spoke to India Today about the accident, stating that the students were out of the safe space.
In response to the anguish caused, the students will hold a protest on February 10 called "safe party or no party". Similar complaints have also been made by students who felt insecure during last year's festival.
What can be done when schools designed to empower students and ensure their safety are under attack? While the school administration is not ready to act, the students have decided to lead a march that draws attention to the seriousness of the situation.
