Rating: 3.5/5 stars (Three and a half stars)
Star Cast: Vijay Deverakonda, Raashi Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh, Catherine Tresa, and Izabelle Leite
Director: Kranthi Madhav
Best Part: Vijay Deverakonda can continue to amaze in an environment he has been to twice before. In addition, Aishwarya Rajesh, who left the maximum impact.
Worst Part: The southern superstar follows the same graphics as her latest films. At least a small change in the character's tone would have been a truce. The southern superstar follows the same graphics as her latest films. At least a small change in the character's tone would have been a truce.
Analysis: The plot has been kept secret until the last day, the world-famous lover with Vijay Deverakonda at the head is the story of a couple, Gautham (Vijay) and Yamini (Raashi) who are going through a difficult time in their relationship. The reason is Gautham's ambition to become a writer, but his arrogance and laziness are the killers. The two have a somewhat loveless relationship.
After seeing his descent into madness and oblivion, Yamini decides to leave him, which leads Gautham to take his life seriously. Her lack of love gives rise to two stories, one set in a rural city in India and the other in Paris. The film, while telling Gautham's real-life story, also tells his fantasy stories in parallel. Here Gautham introduces us to Sennya (Vijay), Suvarna (Aishwarya), Smitha (Catherine) and Iza (Izabelle).
Script Analysis: The script that certainly looked promising on paper as the part where parallel stories are reproduced while they were written by an author who is experiencing the greatest pain is fascinating. But on the screen, it creates magic in parts. The biggest diversion was to establish Vijay in the same basic configuration that we have already seen. All claims for the actor for hitting the accent, body language, and anger, but we've seen a lot of him.
The high point of the script must be the first story that Gautham tells. The love triangle between Sennya, Suvarna, and Smitha intrigued me more and made me support. Especially the end where the devoted wife returns him to an unfaithful husband and is a cool breeze in southern cinema.
Besides, it's nice that writers have given women of this universe strong voices to defend themselves. Unlike the last films which clearly lacked representation.
Writing certainly falls at the beginning of the second half, and you don't have to be a scholar to get it. Gautham's true story is what saved us from the second fictional story that is super predictable.
Star Performance Analysis: It is said to be Vijay's latest romantic film for at least a while and confirmed by the actor himself, it seems to be the perfect decision. The character played by the actor seems like a child's play to him. It is impressive and certainly attractive but not a revelation or new. Plus extra points for not supporting your abs and showing off a body that seems identifiable.
Others, like Raashi, Catherine and Izabelle, play their role with conviction and dedication and are impressive.
Direction and Music Analysis: Speaking of directing, the film follows a non-linear narrative style. This may be a problem for some, but it does quite well without going crazy. Kranthi appears to be aware of what Vijay fans expect of him and has just tried to take care of them.
Perhaps changing the character's tone at least when it wasn't broken would have done wonders for the part and would have also improved Vijay's performance. The fictional story between Sennya, Suvarna, and Smitha shot in the middle of a coal mine must be the best direction in terms of production design, camera, and emotions. Furthermore, it was a good decision to demonstrate that bad behavior has consequences.
When they come to music, songs can sound good the moment they are used, but they don't seem to have a high memory value. However, the musical theme of the film is a relaxing melody.
Final Analysis and Stars: World Famous Lover is a continuation of the "protagonist in anger and ready to destroy the world genre", which has already created a great debate. See it if you support Vijay's latest movie for "romantic" movies. If not, you have no reason to spend on it. Additionally, Vijay fans will see romance for the last time until after the break.
